Weekend Update with Puyo Puyo creator’s Switch game update, L.A. Noire coming to Japan, Shogi game coming to Switch plus more!
● I spoke with legendary Puyo Puyo creator Masamitsu Niitani from Compile○ yesterday and who is behind the awesome 3DS puzzle game ‘Nyoki Nyoki Uchu Seifuku Hen’ who told he hopes the game will be coming to Kickstarter!
● Rockstar Games Japan have confirmed that L.A. Noire will release on Nintendo Switch in the country this December!
● Silver Star Japan will publish Asonde Shogi ga Kyoukunaru! Kane Hoshi Shogi DX for Nintendo Switch on 14 December 2017. I assume it will also be a retail release as well as being on the eShop.
● Teyon Japan are set to make their first Nintendo Switch announcement later this month. The company have released so many Japanese 3DS games and are responsible for the localisation of the hit Cube Life Wii U games.
● The Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop game Photon Cube has had a trademark applied for for its name in English (in Japan). Smile Axe have previously stated that a localisation would come if their was enough interest.
● M2 Co., Ltd. have also applied for trademarks for the videogames ‘Usagi no Mashuu’ and ‘Yamineko’ (both made in Japanese’.
● Steins;Gate Elite is one of the games listed for Nintendo Switch on the Sega list for Tokyo Game Show 2017. This maybe an error. Thanks to GoNintendo.
