Monday Update with Pokémon pre-orders open, Cake Shop Story announced for 3DS, Sumikko Gurashi interview and more!

● Pre-orders have opened for the Pocket Monsters Gold and Silver Virtual Console games which are available at retail as both a package with physical items or as a download card. A new trailer here and package pictures here.

● Nippon Columbia have announced Cake Shop Story for Nintendo 3DS with the full name of Cake-ya-san Monogatari Oishii Sweets o Tsukurou and scheduled for 9 November.

● An interview with Yoshinao Shimada here where he revealed why Sumikko Gurashi: Sumikko Park he Youkoso is on Nintendo Switch and not on 3DS like previous titles.

COMG! sales are slow for last week with Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 opening with 82, Dragon Quest XI with 45 and Monster Hunter XX Switch down to just 24.
