Weekend Update with ARMS news, Pokémon Tretta Lab deletion, new Crayon Shin-chan game, Konami trademark and more!
● A lot of ARMS tidbits! Firstly Version 3 (with Lola Pop!) will arrive between 11-20 September, there’s a Mechanica wallpaper reward (pictured) in My Nintendo, the top 3 fighters from Version 2.1 are Ninjara, Kid Cobra and Spring Man and the latest ARMS Online Public Sparring tournament here.
● Pokémon Tretta Lab for Nintendo 3DS will no longer be downloadable from the eShop after 31 August. The game is not actually available to buy there but requires redemption of a QR code from a physical purchase.
● FuRyu’s mysterious ‘Oden’ game is actually a new Shin Chan game entitled something close to Crayon Shin-chan Gekiatsu! Oden wa ~ Rudo Dai Konran!! and scheduled for 30 November 2017 priced at ¥6,134.
● IGN recently spoke with Hajime Tabata from Square-Enix regarding Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition for Nintendo Switch and responded with “There is certainly a chance. It’s certainly not zero.”
● Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. Is the number one selling game for the past two weeks on the Japanese Switch eShop.
● Bandai Namco Entertainment have updated their Switch page finally acknowledging the Tales of and Taiko no Tatsujin series coming to Nintendo Switch. I expect an unveiling at the Tokyo Game Show next month.
● The latest issue of CoroCoro Ichiban magazine (the one with the awesome ARMS manga) comes with a free Splatoon 2 paper airplane!
● Finally, Konami Digital Entertainment have applied for a trademark for a videogame ‘Gadget Garage’. And thanks for following!
