Thursday update with Tomokore and Mario de trademarks, new Splatfest, CoroCoro teasing Splatoon 2 scoop and more!
● Nintendo applied for a trademark for トモコレ (Tomokore) which is the Japanese abbreviated term for Tomodachi Collection (Tomodachi Life) and which obviously speculatively points towards a Switch version. Also applied for is マリオデ (Mario de) which is an abbreviated term for Super Mario Odyssey.
● The next Splatfest in Splatoon 2 will be Flight vs Invisibility and take place on the first weekend of September in the west. Japan is yet to confirm!
● Death Squared will be called RORORORO in Japan and Circle Entertainment will be publishing! No release date as of yet. Japanese logo here.
● The next issue of CoroCoro will feature a Splatoon 2 CoroCoro × Squid Research Lab Project scoop! I’m guessing exclusive CoroCoro gear for Splatoon 2. Teaser image here.
● NBA 2K18 is getting a demo in Japan on 8 September on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch is not scheduled to be getting one.
