Wednesday Update with J.B. Harold Murder Club, Persona Q2, Suichara, Strikers 1945, Gunbarich, Quest of Dungeons, plus much more!
● A huge update! Mebius are remaking the Famicom murder mystery adventure game J.B. Harold Murder Club as Keiji J.B. Harold no Jikenbo Murder Club next week (10 August) on the Nintendo Switch eShop priced at ¥864. All versions of J.B. Harold Murder Club have sold over 20 million worldwide.
● Persona Q2 was announced for Nintendo 3DS by Atlus, The teaser site http://cdn.pq2.jp has the message ‘Please Wait for Next Information!’ No release date at present.
● FuRyu have announced the super cute Suichara 〜Sweets chara mode〜 Sweets Gakkou e Youkoso! for Nintendo 3DS releasing on 30 November priced at ¥5,918.
● Zerodiv have surprisingly released the vertical shoot-em-up Strikers 1945 for Nintendo Switch and the arcade game Gunbarich for Nintendo Switch with both priced at ¥500 each until Saturday (then ¥864). Both games can be played in vertical mode.
● Flyhigh Works will publish the roguelike game Quest of Dungeons on the Nintendo Switch eShop next week (10 August) priced at ¥800. The game is also available on 3DS and will be localised shortly.
● Hamster should also publish the fighting game ACA NEOGEO The King of Fighters 2000 on the same date for the usual price of ¥823. Expect more NEOGEO announcements shortly!
● The final new 3DS announcement is the digital manga Ugoku Manga Digicolo Keshikasu-kun Vol.013 Otona no Asobi ni Chousen! from Shogakukan due next week (9 August) priced at just ¥100.
● Famitsu reported Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete sales are 2,080,806 for its opening weekend with Nintendo 3DS at 1,130,468 and PlayStation 4 at 950,338. Nintendo 3DS hardware sold 126,790 last week and Nintendo Switch 105,697.
● Nintendo Switch sold over 1,000 at Rakuten earlier today in between one and two minutes. It also sold out on the My Nintendo Store in under 12 minutes (no number however!).
● Jupiter have announced that the seven Picross e titles on Nintendo 3DS have totalled over half a million sales. To commemorate, there will be an eShop sale from 9-23 August with the first four games available for half-price at just ¥250 apiece.
● The latest My Nintendo rewards are a pair of outfits for wear in Miitomo with the Viking Outfit (available in Blue, Wine Red or Dark Green) and the Almond & Chocolate Doughnut (available in Brown, Pink or White). Check out the full list of rewards here.
● Super Bomberman R Ver. 1.4.1 is available from today although just fixes a couple of bugs. Konami page notes here.
● The latest DLC pack for RPG Maker Fes in Japan sees a Disgaea D2 Character Set, a Makai Senki Disgaea 5 Character Set, a Phantom Brave Character Set and a Prinny Character Set. All DLC Packs cost ¥100 each.
● This week’s episode of Neko Mario Time (here) features Neko Mario and Neko Peach (and Captain Toad!) looking at Splatoon 2, ARMS, Dragon Quest XI and Graceful Explosion Machine!

● A set of 40 Dragon Quest X LINE Stickers are now available in the LINE App priced at 100 LINE Coins (¥240).
