Friday Update with Dragon Quest XI localisation, Sexy Brutale confirmed, more Capcom games, Fire Emblem Heroes plans, Sega trademarks plus more!

Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete is now available in Japan on the eShop and at retail in a few hours time. Yuji Horii confirmed the game will be localised as Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age in 2018 although no platforms were confirmed.

● Nippon Ichi will publish the adventure puzzle game The Sexy Brutale for Nintendo Switch in Japan in the Fall priced at ¥2,160. Expect confirmation for a western release in the near future.

● Capcom reported 450,000 sales of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers and are planning more ‘Switch version titles’. Thanks to Takashi Mochizuki.

● Nintendo outlined their plans for Fire Emblem Heroes in a special Feh Channel broadcast earlier today. I recapped the bulk of information here.

Sega Games have applied for trademarks for ‘Card Maker’, ‘Nama Anime’, ‘Border Break Zero’ and ‘Playbit’.

● The Dualie Squelchers will be added to Splatoon 2 tomorrow at 11:00 JST. The Sub Weapon is the Point Sensor and the Special Weapon the Super Missile.

Splatoon was amazingly the best-selling Wii U eShop for the past week in Japan, presumably due to people unable to buy a Nintendo Switch and Splatoon 2! Full charts here.

● I’m not sure how long Nintendo Switch took to sell out on the My Nintendo Store today (less than half hour!) as Nin-Godzilla made his presence known after several minutes!

● A video and new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild artwork from Japan Expo here.

● The fifth ARMS TV commercial here.

● The Namco Museum launch promo video here.

● And M.S.S Project’s Sekaiju to Fushigi no Dungeon 2 (Etrian Mystery Dungeon) gameplay movie part one here!

● Two new rewards added to My Nintendo today with the Splatoon Squid Theme  and the Nintendo Switch software Splatoon 2 Wallpaper. Full list of rewards here.

Miitomo today saw the return of the three Show off your muscles! Sports Superstars’ Miitomo Drop stages and some new Shop items. Full list here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares closed the week at 37,460 which is a drop from yesterday but higher than last week!

● And finally, screenshots of Kinopio-kun in Dragon Quest XI plus a couple of smartphone wallpapers here. Have a great weekend and thanks for following!
