Friday Update with Splatfest demo, Max Brass, WindWaker Lobster Shirt, Shinya Takahashi interview, and more!

● The Splatoon 2 Splatfest World Premiere demo is now available for download requiring 1.4 GB There’s a little test-run, you can visit the shops, vote Team Rock or Team Pop and draw some Miiverse art (such as my Kinopio-kun one above!). The first content update after the game releases will be for the Splat Brella weapon.

● Max Brass will be added to ARMS as a playable character in the game’s second update on 12 July 2017 along with three weapons and the Sky Arena Stage.

The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker Lobster Shirt will be coming to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as part of the expansion Pass 2 ‘The Champions’ Ballad’ DLC later this year. Eiji Aonuma confirmed that you’ll still play as Link but learn more about Zelda along the way.

Shinya Takahashi was interviewed in Le Monde and says Nintendo have improved Switch production and that the company have 11 production teams working on multiple projects at the same time. Thanks to Go Nintendo.

Serebii have reported that Pokémon: Magikarp Jump has been downloaded over 10 million times.

Miitomo added the first ‘Dancing with the mermaids! Marine Merriment’ Miitomo Drop stage today, some new MIitomo Shop items plus resolved some functionality issues where some items wouldn’t display properly.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the Tempest Trials: Resonant Fangs begin and will run until 21 July with some related daily quests added also.
