Weekly News Update with all the week’s Japanese Switch, 3DS, Wii U and Mobile news! 

● So much news stemming from E3 2017! For that reason, everything will be kept short and to the point…

Metroid Prime 4 is in development for Nintendo Switch. No release date at present.

● A remake of Metroid II, Metroid: Samus Returns will release for Nintendo 3DS on 15 September.

Hoshi no Kirby for Nintendo Switch (working title) is in development and will release in 2018.

Yoshi for Nintendo Switch (again a working title) is also in development and again scheduled for 2018.

● A core Pokémon RPG for Nintendo Switch is confirmed to be in development and is at least a year away.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was confirmed by Ubisoft and will release in Japan in 2018.

Mario & Luigi RPG 1 DX (Superstar Saga remake) was confirmed for Nintendo 3DS and will release in Fall 2017.

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido is a new Nintendo 3DS game for 2018 co-developed by Indies Zero.

Super Mario Odyssey received a worldwide release date for Nintendo Switch on 27 October.

Xenoblade 2 is still scheduled for a worldwide Holiday 2017 release on Nintendo Switch.

Fire Emblem Musou (Warriors) will be available in Japan on 28 September 2017 on both 3DS and Switch.

Rocket League was also announced for Nintendo Switch and will release in Winter 2017.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild The Master Trials, DLC Pack 1 was dated for 30 June.

● Koei Tecmo announced both Champion Jockey Special and Winning Post 8 for Nintendo Switch on 14 September.

● FuRyu will release another Beyblade title, Beyblade Burst God for Nintendo 3DS on 23 November.

● Battle Axe announced an action puzzle game Photon³ for the Nintendo Switch eShop on 29 June.

● Flyhigh Works will publish the action RPG Implosion – Never Lose Hope on the Switch eShop in July.

● Collavier have dated their Switch eShop card game Physical Contact Speed for 29 June.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas will be available on the Switch eShop a week earlier, on 22 June.

ACA NEOGEO Garou Densetsu 2: Aratanaru Tatakai (Fatal Fury 2) is also scheduled for 22 June.

● Culture Brain Excel announced The Game 15 Vol. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS eShop in late June.

● Bandai Namco will release Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch on 7 September.

● Warner Bros. have confirmed that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is coming to Japan this Winter.

● Nussoft confirmed they are porting their Wii U game ACE OF SEAFOOD for Nintendo Switch.

● Compile〇 will crowdfund Nyoki Nyoki Uchu Seifuku Hen for Nintendo Switch on Campfire shortly.

● Bethesda revealed that you can scan the Breath of the Wild Link amiibo into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

● Nicalis showcased Blade Strangers, The End is Nigh, Ittle Dew 2+ and Tiny Barbarian DX at E3.

● Ubisoft also showed Starlink: Battle for Atlas and Just Dance 2018 (both unconfirmed for Japan).

● Nintendo Co., Ltd. applied for trademarks for both Awazon no Hihou and DS Kondate Zenshuu.

● Finally – 13 new amiibo: 4 x The Legend of Zelda Series (Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa), 5 x Super Mario Series (Wedding Style Mario, Peach and Koopa, plus normal Kuribo and Nokonoko), 2 x Metroid Series (Samus Aran and Metroid) and 2 x Fire Emblem Series (Chrom and Tiki). Phew!
