Tuesday Update with three big announcements from today’s Pokémon Direct and more!
● The big news today stems from the Pokémon Direct with three announcements: Pokkén Tournament DX is coming to Nintendo Switch on 22 September 2017. On the same day, Pocket Monsters Gold and Silver will come to the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console with what was expected to be Pokémon Stars actually becoming Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and coming to Nintendo 3DS (no Switch version) on 17 November 2017. ● Bandai Namco Entertainment have added a number of new updates to Mario Kart Arcade GP DX including Daisy as a playable character, a Pac-Man Cup added to Grand Prix mode and more minor changes.
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. stocks went up again today by 0.17% to 34,630 and are at their new highest level since October 2008! Investment bank Jefferies has lifted the price target for Nintendo stock to 57,500 (from 39,200). Thanks to Serkan Toto for the latter part.
● This week’s Weekly Famitsu review scores are: ARMS (Switch) with 33/40 (8/8/8/9), World of Goo (Switch) with 32/40 (8/8/7/9), Mr. Shifty (Switch) with 32/40 (8/8/8/8), Alchemic Dungeons (3DS) with 28/40 (6/8/7/7) and Dead House Saisei (Wii U) with 21/40 (5/6/6/4).
● “Trainers, Pokémon GO is being updated to version 0.63.4 for Android and 1.33.4 for iOS to implement bug fixes.” Oh, and a Pokémon Duel update to balance a few issues is coming tomorrow too.
● And in Pokémon Shuffle news: a few new stages including Alolan Exeggutor, Alolan Muk, Lurantis and Primarina as well as the Daily Pokémon and Pokémon Safari events.
