The day Monster Hunter moved to Switch pushing Nintendo stock to the highest level in years (plus more news!)

Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. was surprisingly announced in a Tweet by Capcom. There will be a livestream in a few hours time which should reveal the release date. The chances of Monster Hunter 5 appearing on Switch are now very high.

● After the revelation of Monster Hunter continuing on the Nintendo platform, Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares shot up by a massive 5.48% to 33,510.00. From my records, this is the highest point since 30 December 2008.

● The ARMS Global Testpunch is also in a few hours time. Check out the global times here

VOEZ will see its first free update on 1 June delivering 18 new songs making up 134 in total.

● Today’s update to Miitomo saw the return of the ‘Out of this world! Galactic Garments’ Miitomo Drop stages plus the pictured Gladiator’s Outfit items in the Miitomo Shop.

● And today’s update to Fire Emblem Heroes saw the return of the Grand Hero Battle with Narcian: Wyvern General.

● The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department have asked several go-kart companies -including Nintendo’s rivals MariCAR– to improve safety due to 22 recorded go-karting accidents recorded since late March.

● That’s all for today, apologies for the lack of updates – I’m under the weather. A lot of blog posts queued for the weekend however. See you in the Global Testpunch (and take it easy on me!).
