The Nintendo Direct Post
Welcome to our Nintendo Direct thread that will begin shortly at 07:00 JST (15:00 PT, 18:00 ET, 23:00 BST and 00:00 CET). All we know for certain is that Splatoon 2 and ARMS will be featured along with other Nintendo Switch and 3DS titles. Check out the YouTube video embedded below. Looks like the Direct will be 35 minutes long.
● And it begins! Yoshiaki Koizumi. Hey! Pikmin on 3DS! Releases 13 July in Japan along with Pikmin amiibo!
● New The Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Bros. amiibo. I’ll do a separate post soon.
● Ever Oasis also releasing on 13 July in Japan. Also The Snack World releasing on the same day!
● Lady Layton is releasing on 20 July in Japan.
● Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 releasing 3 August. Sorry I’m struggling to keep up! Most of the other games are ones with previously announced dates.
● Kirby’s Blowout Blast announced for 3DS this Summer.
● ARMS now. 16 June in Japan. Neon Yellow Joy-Con. Joy-Con extended batteries too.
● New Switch announcements include Fate/EXTELLA, a Senran Kagura HD Rumble game, Nights of Azure 2 and Payday 2 and Monopoly plus much more (I can’t keep up!).
● Splatoon 2 time! It features a new four-player Salmon Run mode. Three new amiibo. It’s coming 21 July. I’ll update individual posts ASAP.
