Friday Update with Nintendo Switch finally available and more news!
● Nintendo Switch released today! Just a super quick update as I’d rather be playing! The games I have thus far are Breath of the Wild, Blaster Master, Soldam 2, Othello, all the demos and all the Neo Geo games! Unfortunately overseas credit cards do not work but you can buy Nintendo eShop Pre Paid Cards here. A few thoughts: the UI is super quick and user friendly although it’s a little less charming than both 3DS and Wii U. The screen is an absolute delight and works perfect with Zelda. I’ve had no issues with the Joy-Con btw. Oh, and Blaster Master Zero is my second favourite game thus far!
● Collectible Badge Center updated yesterday adding a panel of Nintendo Switch badges, five panels of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild badges and seven panels of Pokémon badges.
● Miitomo saw Nintendo Switch stamps as a log-in bonus, the first ‘Purrfection! Feline Fashion 2’ Miitomo Drop stage plus the Leopard Print Dress & Biker Jacket and more items in the Shop.
● Fire Emblem Heroes saw its first update (Version 1.1.0) adding a new event and new feature plus other various system improvements. Players also received a Nintendo Switch log-in bonus.
● Nobunaga no Yabou: Souzou with Power-Up Kit is on sale on the JP Switch eShop reduced from ¥10,584 to ¥9,526 until 16 March. That’s still a whopping $83!
● Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna (I Am Setsuna) will see Temporal Battle Arena as free DLC this April where players can battle against others.
● Nintendo opened up Mario Portal and Zelda Portal sites at https://www.nintendo.co.jp/character/index.html to go along with the Animal Crossing and Kirby 25th Anniversary sites.
● LINE saw Kinopio-kun do his own Nintendo Switch unboxing plus the green Toad added a Switch smartphone wallpaper!
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares closed the week at 23,710.00 which is slightly up from last week but up a massive 3.65% from yesterday!
