● Arc System Works have bought several WorkJam franchises including Jake Hunter, Theresia and Konoke no le with the first new game announced being a new Jake Hunter title Tantei Jinguji Saburo: GHOST OF THE DUSK for 3DS.
● Monster Hunter XX will also feature a collaboration with SHOW BY ROCK!! (source).
● Fire Emblem Heroes will see five special Worldwide Launch Celebration Maps in the coming weeks with two difficulty modes and the chance to win up to six orbs with each map. The first goes live today.
● Miitomo saw the “Princess for a day! Flounces and Thrills” Miitomo Drop stage return yesterday for a couple of days with Fantasy Princess and Royal Princess outfits and Fantasy Prince and Royal Prince ones.
● COMG! again saw a slow sales week with Pokémon Sun Moon (31 pt), Yokai Watch 3: Sukiyaki (24 pt), Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World (19 pt), Super Mario Maker (15 pt) and everything else grim. Pre-orders have Monster Hunter XX (580 pt), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (215 pt), Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional (84 pt), 1-2-Switch (80 pt), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (29 pt) and Dragon Quest Heroes (16 pt).
● Famitsu have their January sales totals with Pokémon Sun Moon (353,983), Super Mario Maker (301,472) and Momotaro Dentetsu 2017 (232,276). Nintendo 3DS hardware was (355,816).
● In the Monday Maintenance report: credit cards on the eShop and purchasing online are currently out of use until 20:00 JST today. Online play and rankings etc will be mostly down tomorrow from 10:00 – 19:00 JST, the eShop will be undergoing maintenance on Wednesday (Tuesday in the West) from 03:00 – 06:00 JST and Monster Hunter X will be offline on Wednesday from 08:50 – 11:30 JST.
