Super Mario Run numbers, no Yakuza 0 nor Persona 5 on Switch, Tom Create sales and more!
● Little news day but the lead pic comes from the official Pikachu Instagram page (here).
● The Wall Street Journal ran a story using market research firm Newzoo that Super Mario Run has been downloaded roughly 90 million times and generated roughly $30 million in revenue.
● Apparently Ryu ga Gotoku 0 (Yakuza 0) and Persona 5 are not coming to Nintendo Switch according to a tweet by Atlus U.S.A. community manager John Hardin.
● CIRCLE Entertainment (who work with Japanese companies such as Flyhigh Works and Skipmore) talk about Nintendo eShop support (3DS, Wii U and Switch) in a Nintendo Life interview.
● The 3DS eShop added the Tom Create sale with Smash Heroes, Escape! Zombie City, Shinobi Spirits, Runny Egg and Hippari~Nya! all on sale. Prices on the Sales page.
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares started the year with a whimper down 0.24% to 24,480. Expect another topsy turvy year with Switch and mobile.
● More Puzzle & Dragons X DLC is available today (pictured here) for free with the Ultimate Armor Drop BOOK (pictured here) releasing tomorrow for ¥980.
● That’s all for now but Weekly Famitsu leftover scans later (no issue this week due to holidays) and Famitsu charts expected tomorrow now!
