Miyagi Prefecture generates ¥2 billion from Pokémon GO event
Miyagi Prefecture held a Pokémon GO event for 11 days from November 11 – 21 with Lapras (pictured) appearing and approximately 100,000 tourists visiting Ishinomaki City generating approximately ¥2 billion (almost $17 million) in revenue.
