Nikkei plummets, Super Mario Maker site open, Crayon Shin-chan removed and more!
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares slumped by 6.16% from the U.S. election results and are now down to 22,915. The BBC report that “Japan’s top currency diplomat, Masatsugu Asakawa, is consulting finance minister Taro Aso on how to respond to the roiling markets.“ The Nikkei index slumped by 5.36% at close of trading.
● The Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS website is now open here with an introduction video here.
● There are no Wii U eShop titles announced for next week. This is the second consecutive week with no Virtual Console games too.
● The Nintendo 3DS eShop is busy however with Sssnakes, Quest of Dungeons, Moero!! Pro Yakyuu 2016 (Bases Loaded 2016), RPG Maker Fes Player and Nyoki Nyoki Tabidachi-hen. I’ll cover more of these titles over the next few days.
● Next week on the eShop will also see an Assassination Classroom sale along with many Mechanic Arms titles. I’ll update the Sales page in a day or two!
● The Bandai Namco game Crayon Shin-chan: Uchuu de Achoo!? Yuujou no Oba-Karate!! will be removed from the 3DS eShop next week (16 November) presumably due to licensing issues.
● A-Ressha de Ikou 3D will also be removed due to the upcoming NEO update.
● The 3DS Theme Shop saw Urusei Yatsura, Nayutanalien feat. Hatsune Miku, Gero, GYARI, Traffic Light, halyosy and Beyblade Burst themes. Go here to see all the details/pictures!
● Puzzle & Dragons X features its first Duel Masters collaborative DLC from today.
● And the One Piece vs. Dragon Ball Z update is now live with both One Piece: Dai Kaizoku Colosseum and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden featuring cross-battles!
