● The lead pic is from a brief The Legend of Zelda interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tepuka and Koji Kondo here where Miyamoto talks being inspired by Indiana Jones, the game being developed in parallel with Super Mario Bros., Kondo wrote the opening song in ONE NIGHT due to a copyright issue with the intended music, the original manual was uploaded here btw, rupees were not used because of India but because they sound like rubies and sound CUTE! There’s more topics discussed too but that was the most interesting bits. Next developer interview is Metroid!
