New Monster Hunter game, Zero Escape 4 teased and Momotaro Dentetsu dated
● Just a super quick update. The lead pic is from the Pokémon Halloween stickers now available for a limited time on the SNOW app.
● A Monster Hunter Direct is coming on Thursday at 20:00 JST with Monster Hunter XG or Monster Hunter 5 expected for Nintendo 3DS. No Switch version will be announced at the Direct but may come later.
● Aksys Games tweeted “Zero Escape news in October” although it is unknown whether this pertains to Zero Escape 4.
● Nintendo dated Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon!! for 22 December priced at ¥5,378 on 3DS. Expect this to be one of the bigger holiday games.
● Nintendo 3DS System Update Ver. 11.2.0-35J is now available and delivers the same standard “overall system stability and other minor adjustments” as always
● The Pokémon GO update is now live. As a Halloween event players can now earn twice the amount of candy from 26 October – 1 November.
● And Pokémon Shuffle on mobile and tablets has been downloaded an impressive 12 million times.
● A Megami Meguri introduction video for the limited edition retail packs here.
● And not Japanese news (although expect a localisation!) but FDG Entertainment have just about confirmed Monster Boy for Nintendo Switch!
● Finally Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares are back up by 2.98% to 24,685 so the post Switch drop looks like it’s over. I’ll (probably) post again shortly with the Famitsu previews!
