Nintendo Switch news round-up and more Japanese Nintendo news!
● In confirmed Nintendo Switch news since yesterday’s update: Unreal Engine 4 and amiibo will both be supported. The dock is not part of console and will provide TV output and charging only. The actual console is the LCD screen/controllers. Switch will be sold with at least the dock and two Joy-Con controllers. There will be no more official announcements this year regarding game titles and spec details (including region-lock status). Many thanks to IGN and WSJ.
● Traders aren’t buying the Nintendo Switch concept as Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares are down 6.55% to 25,185. This obviously isn’t good news but is neither unexpected nor necessarily indicative of the console’s fortunes.
