Pokémon Sun Moon trailer, Kirby LINE theme, Pokémon GO update, Grandpa Danger in Denpa Men and more

● The latest Japanese Pokémon Sun Moon trailer showcases the new Pokémon from CoroCoro, the villainous Team Skull and Alola Form Meowth, Marowak and now Raichu.

● Nintendo added a Kirby theme to the LINE app available for 150 coins. Kinopio-kun also updated the official Nintendo LINE account with Kirby smartphone wallpaper.

● A minor Pokémon GO update (Version 1.3.1) delivering stability improvements. The game is now down to #6 on the Japanese iOS charts and #3 on the top grossing.

● The latest issue of CoroCoro includes a code for a second Grandpa Danger stage in Denpa Ningen no RPG FREE! The code can be used on only one 3DS and expire a month after using.

● Congratulations to Teyon Japan on their fifth birthday. They are planning an Anniversary Sale soon so I’ll keep you posted!

● The latest Star Account in the Japanese Miitomo is comedian (Yukiko) Tomochika. I will now no longer be making separate Miitomo threads unless it’s something really newsworthy.

● The second episode of the Fortune Teller quest in Dragon Quest X runs today with the third episode next Thursday.

● The COMG Summer Sale runs until 22 August with Yokai Watch 3 now ¥3,980, Monster Hunter X ¥1,780, Monster Strike ¥2,980 and a ton of titles ¥1,980 including Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3, Yokai Watch Busters and more.

Yokai Watch 3 being discounted in a number of stores (GEO, COMG, Amazon etc) means no more shipments of the game are likely and total sales will likely be 1.3 million or below.

● The HMV Clearance Sale with 50 – 70% off a million titles here. 3DS games include Persona Q, Curtain Call, Game Center CX 3, Monster Strike and many more (no Yokai Watch 3!).

Rabi × Labi: Episode 3 (Raby Laby 3) videos here, here, here, here and here.

● That’s all for now. I’m now at work on the Salamander MSX review (two days late – blame Pokémon GO!) and will be back with the Collectible Badge Center update later this evening so thanks for following and check back later!
