New game from Puyo Puyo creator, Fairune 2 next week, demos, themes and more!
● Nintendo announced their Nindies line-up for BitSummit 4th with 14 total games including 6 unannounced. Compile ○’s Nyoki Nyoki Tabidachi-hen (pictured) which is a Puyo Puyo clone from the Puyo Puyo creator! It’s due on the eShop soon priced at ¥800. I’ll do an updated BitSummit 4th post in a couple of days as the BitSummit webpage is out-of-date and even incorrect in regards to the Wonder Boy listing!
● Fairune 2 is coming to the 3DS next week priced at ¥800. The original is one of my favourite eShop titles. Go here for more info, screens and a trailer (also here).
● Also coming to 3DS next week are five more digital manga titles with two from Grandpa Danger and three more from Keshikasu-kun. Each title will be ¥100 each.
● The Wii U Virtual Console will see Wagamama Fashion: Girls Mode (Style Savvy) for ¥950 and Wave Race 64 for ¥1,028.
● Sumikko Gurashi: Mura wo Tsukurun Desu is now available to pre-load on 3DS with a demo also available. A 6180 the moon demo is also on Wii U.
● A Rainy Frog eShop sale is running on both 3DS and Wii U from 13 – 27 July with a PUMO one running now until 27 July on 3DS. I’ll least the full titles and sales tomorrow when I’m back online.
● Dragon Fang which was announced for New Nintendo 3DS back in September will also be at Bit Summit 4th. Go here for the reveal.
● Eight new themes are available on the Theme Shop including Culdcept Revolt, Onegai Chakra, Peanuts, Pre-Machine “UP” ♡, Magic Round 2 and three Yu-Gi-Oh!. Go here for the full list with pictures and a video for the Culdcept theme here.
● Some countries already have Pokémon GO. It is not yet available in Japan.
● The third “Sparkling Night Sky! Starlight Series” stage is now available in Miitomo Drop.
● Shovel Knight is remarkably number one on both the 3DS and Wii U eShop charts knocking off Trio of Towns and Minecraft respectively.
● The Witch & Hero II soundtrack releases on 22 July. Amazon link here and trailer here.

● The awesome pear mascot and 3DS superstar Funassyi is releasing a new compilation including one of his songs and some hard rock greats entitled ‘Funa Metal Rock’ on 17 August. Full details and track-list here.
● Yesterday I posted the official Nintendo Co. Ltd. stance on VR (posted here). This will be the last I’ll post on the subject until (if ever) anything becomes official.
● A new Nintendo handheld patent here which may or may not amount to anything.
● Finally, I’m travelling today and mostly offline. I’ll post the Weekly Famitsu scans when I can. It might be that I post them uncropped now and edit the posts at the weekend!
