Nintendo 2DS ceases production in Japan
Nintendo have ended production of the 2DS in Japan. The 2DS only had a limited run in conjunction with the four Pocket Monsters Virtual Console re-releases and was thus only available in the relating games colours (Red / Green / Blue / Yellow). The only sales information we have for 2DS in Japan is upwards of 100,000. The 2DS joins the 3DS LL (and Sad Sack!) in the reject bin.
