Weekly update with Pokémon, Shantae and Thomas news!
● E3 is a little over a week away and there will also be a Pokémon Sun Moon Nintendo Treehouse Live in addition to the previously announced The Legend of Zelda one.
● Intergrow are bringing Shantae: Risky’s Revenge (Wii U), Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse (Wii U) and Mighty Switch Force! 2 (3DS) to Japan this Summer.
● The Japanese Rail Sim 3D and Thomas and Friends franchises collide in late July with Tetsudou Nippon! Kikansha Thomas from Sonic Powered. Go here for more info.
● A 5 Year Anniversary eShop Sale takes place from 7 – 13 June with 100 games up to 55% off, plus a further 10% for Nintendo Account holders. The list of games are here.
● Touch Battle Tank 3D-4: Double Commander was announced by Silver Star Japan for the 3DS eShop next week (8 June) priced at ¥500. View the teaser site here.
● Next week on the Wii U Virtual Console will see the N64 RPG Custom Robo V2 (¥1,028) and the GBA sim Thousand Years Family or Sennen Kazoku (¥702).
● Another Pokémon arcade title entitled Pokémon Ga-Olé was announced by both Marvelous AQL and Takara Tomy Arts launching in July with the teaser site here.
● Collectible Badge Center saw Virtual Boy, Game & Watch and 3DS console badges, DS and Game Boy Advance cartridge badges plus some Pokémon badges.
● A Taiko no Tatsujin: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure was made available for preload with a demo coming on 15 June with a Witch & Hero II demo available now.
● And just two themes added to the 3DS Theme Shop with A Clockwork Truffe and Nyanko Gymnastics with an Armed Blue Gunvolt theme free with Famitsu.
