● There will be an enormous eShop sale from 7 – 13 June celebrating the five year anniversary. 100 games will be up to 50% off including retail titles, eShop only and Virtual Console. Nintendo Account holders will receive a further 10% off. Go here for the (almost) full list of games.
● Touch Battle Tank 3D-4: Double Commander was announced for the 3DS eShop next week priced at ¥500 adding simultaneous two player action. The first two titles were super popular but the third and the Ninja spin-off bombed.
● Next week on the Wii U Virtual Console will see the N64 RPG Custom Robo V2 for ¥1,028 and the GBA simulation game Sennen Kazoku (Thousand Years Family) for ¥702.
● The website for the arcade title Pokémon Ga-Olé has opened up at http://pokemongaole.com with the game a joint Marvelous AQL and Takara Tomy Arts venture and releasing in July.
● A Witch & Hero II demo is available on the eShop right now with a Taiko no Tatsujin: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure demo available in two weeks. Taiko no Tatsujin is also available for preload.
● Just two themes added to the 3DS Theme Shop this week with A Clockwork Truffe and Nyanko Gymnastics both by FuRyu and priced at ¥200 each.
● The teaser site for Tetsudou Nippon! Kikansha Thomas has opened up at http://www.sonicpowered.co.jp/train/new/
● A Girls Mode 3: Kirakira ☆ Kode collaboration with Chara Parfait magazine with new items pictured at the Girls Mode website.
● Bandai will open an official LINE account on 7 June with a set of eight Tamagotchi stickers free for befriending until 29 August and usable for 180 days. Kinopio-kun also updated the Nintendo LINE account today (see separate post).
