Introducing Hana-kun and Tag Teacher!
● Nintendo have updated their Kids page (here) introducing two new characters from the Battle Dojo teaching us (and Hana-kun!) how to play the Mario Hanafuda Japanese Playing Cards. Hopefully we’ll see more of them soon!
● Absolutely tons of news today. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is finally getting a retail release in Japan on 23 June priced at ¥3,888 and published by Microsoft!
● Two Splatoon amiibo diorama kits are releasing on 7 July priced at ¥1,080 each featuring the Squid Sisters stage and Mozuku Farm arena. Each diorama kit comes with some Splatoon stickers.
● Next week on the Wii U Virtual Console sees the Super Famicom Shin Megami Tensei spin-off Majin Tensei II: Spiral Nemesis for ¥936 and the Capcom GBA RPG Guranbo for ¥702.
● Also coming to the Wii U eShop is The Great Race by Barnhouse Effect for ¥1,320. The game is a successor to Barnhouse Effect’s Choro Q/Penny Racers series.
● The 3DS eShop will see another Kemco JRPG Journey to Kreisia for ¥1,080 and the Hit-Point VVVVVV clone Henri for ¥500. Starsign’s Danger Road was already announced. Both Journey to Kreisia and Henri are iOS ports.
● A Ciao Illustrations Club demo is now available on the 3DS eShop requiring 476 blocks and allowing five plays.
● The Japanese 3DS Theme Shop this morning saw new themes from Shinjitsu no Mahou Shojou, Snow White with the Red Hair, Customi-Z, Miyano Mamoru and Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san.

● A NES cartridge adapter is coming to the Retro Freak in July for ¥2,160 (link)
