Monster Hunter X had an amazing opening weekend with 1.542,104 retail copies and download cards sold (direct eShop purchases not included). It is all but completely sold out at retail.

● The Yokai Watch series has amassed over ten million in total sales since the original game launched on 11 July 2013. This includes both digital and retail with the Japanese and North American versions of the first game, the three versions of the sequel and both versions of Yokai Watch Busters.

● Square Enix have dated Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 for 24 March 2016 priced at ¥5,670 in what looks like being another strong year software wise for the Japanese 3DS.

● Kemco have announced they are porting the smartphone JRPG Alphadia to the eShop next week priced at ¥1,080.

● Three demos released this morning in Japan with Super Science Escape Gear Detective (30 plays), Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero 3D Kansai ALL STARS (5 plays) and Creative Alice and Prince! (5 plays).

● Available to pre-load are Monster StrikeDowntown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! and Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma: The Dish of Friendship and Bonds.

● So far this week on the Theme Shop we have Mario White Christmas, Kotori Samba, A Clockwork Truffe, Ciao Illustrations Club, NemuNeko Friends ♪ ★ Merry Christmas ★, four Hatsune Miku Project Mirai and two Devil Survivor Overclocked themes.

Pokémon Picross was released this morning and also saw a ¥1,000 Pre-paid Card released (I’ll make a separate post shortly!).

● There’s so much more to post including next week’s eShop sales, Famitsu Most Wanted (new number one!), Latest Theme Charts (also a new number one!), more Weekly Famitsu scans (Monster Hunter X, Dragon Quest X, Monster Hunter Frontier G and Splatoon!) but I need to eat now, monster hunt and bed so please be patient!
