● What could be the holiday’s biggest release: Monster Strike was confirmed for 17 December priced at ¥4,500 (I’m unsure whether that price includes tax). The game is an all-new 3DS version of the smartphone monster hit RPG with stereoscopic 3D. More information will be in this week’s Weekly Famitsu.

● In the Comgnet Reservation Index the only three 3DS titles are Monster Hunter X up to 1,098 points, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD up to 79 points and PriPara Mezase! Aidoru ☆ Grand Prix No.1! debuting with 16 points.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon looks like again being the best selling game of the week with 86 points on Comgnet. Super Mario Maker week three is at 74 points, Yokai Watch Busters combined is at 61 points and Dragon Quest VIII week five is at 41 points.

● Just a reminder that you have up until 30 September (Tuesday in most of the West) to redeem your Club Nintendo points. Log-in (at http://club.nintendo.jp/member/exec/index) quick!

● Scores from this week’s Weekly Famitsu see Guru Guru! Chibi Robo! with 31/40 and Pro Yakyuu Famista Returns with an amazing 34/40.

● Finally, some Takashimaya New Year’s Super Mario Bros. meals can be ordered here and here. There are sixteen exclusive (and amazing!) cards included in the price too although this price stands at a whopping ¥27,000.
