● Apologies for the lack of update yesterday (movie night!) and the brief update today (I accidentally deleted the original!). The most important news of the past week is Nintendo filing a patent application for a games console (NX?) without an optical media drive. Patent details here.

● Two official announcements from Nintendo with Picross 3D 2 for 1 October priced at ¥3,240 (retail and digital) which incorporates amiibo connectivity. The other is both a Colorful Star New Nintendo 3DS bundle and separate kisekae plate pack for 17 September priced at ¥18,360 and ¥2,160 respectively.

● Two eShop announcements with Nippon Columbia and their first ever digital only game Jump Hero for 9 September priced at ¥500 and Arc System Works with the sequel to Ninja Usagimaru: Hayate no Usagimaru: Nazo no Karakuri-Jo for next week (26 August) priced at ¥600.

● The only other game news is Happinet’s fashion game Nico ☆ Petit Girls Runway being dated for 12 November priced at ¥6,458 at retail but just ¥5,000 on the eShop.

● And the only other news is: Hikuosu (Pushmo/Pullblox) badges in Collectible Badge Center, a couple of demos including the latest Tetsudou Nippon game and seventeen themes including a couple of Pikachu ones!
