● Kemco announced they are porting their iOS/Android RPG Chronus Arc to 3DS. The game comes out on 19 August costing ¥800. Kemco began life on Famicom but now are almost predominantly smartphone RPG developers although ported Grinsia previously to 3DS and Alphadia Genesis to Wii U.
● Media-5 also announced Maru Pass! Care Workers Test 2015 Fiscal Year Edition on the same day for ¥2,800. I assume the 2014 version will be removed from the eShop but I’m midway between don’t know and don’t care.
● An Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer update is coming in September called ‘Tsukutta’ and allowing you to share your rooms with other users who can both view and rate. I assume this mode will be in the localised versions day one although this hasn’t been confirmed by NOA or NOE.
● D3 Publisher half-price sales on the eShop between 19 August – 2 September focuses solely on the SIMPLE DL Series featuring Volumes 2, 4, 5, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26 and 32. 2 – 16 are all escape adventures, 17 is Othello, 26 is Tennis and 32 is Battle Robots. All games will cost ¥250 other than 14 and 16 are ¥350, 17 and 26 are ¥200 and 32 is ¥260. Battle Robots is absolutely worth that price.
● Answer who have designed a few 3DS peripherals are releasing a retro console playing Famicom, Super Famicom and Mega Drive games on 28 August. Go to http://a-answerstore.com/?pid=92332577 for more information.
● Super Mario 30th Anniversary merchandise with a soundtrack CD at http://columbia.jp/mario30th/ and a bunch of Taito merchandise at https://www.taito.co.jp/prize/characters/super_mario
● That’s all for today other than perhaps Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur being downloaded 500,000 times (it is free!). Have a great weekend and thanks for following!
