Tuesday News Update

● President Iwata will not be at this year’s E3. Nintendo told IGN “Nintendo’s focus for E3 this year will be showcasing the many games we have coming for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Mr. Miyamoto and other members of our development team will be in Los Angeles to explain these games and the unique experiences that each offers. Mr. Iwata’s focus in this period will be on other areas of our business that require his presence in Japan.”

Super Robot Taisen BX will be announced in tomorrow’s Weekly Famitsu for 20 August release priced at 6,640 yen (unsure whether including tax).

● Tomorrow’s Famitsu magazine will also include Yokai Busters and Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Deluxe amongst other games (I’m hoping for a Splatoon cover since it’s a feature game).

● A+ Games have finally confirmed a date for Killca Drive on 3 June priced at 800 yen. DLC packs have been announced too. The game allows for wireless multiplayer battles.

● Ancient replicated Mamotte Knight 2 using the MegaDrive’s colour palette!

● And a neat looking Gachapin X Mukku New Nintendo 3DS case…

● That’s all for now but will be back in a few hours with next week’s eShop line-up, this week’s themes, demos and then tomorrow with the latest Famitsu charts and scans!
