In-spite of the original being a commercial flop in Japan, Bandai Namco Games have confirmed that Project X Zone 2: Brave New World is in development and is scheduled for release this Fall on 3DS. Characters that have made it into the sequel include those from the game series Resident Evil, Rockman X, Devil May Cry, Tekken, Tales of Vesperia, Strider, Shinobi , hack, Sakura Wars, Virtual Fighter and many more.
