● So much news! Satan and Ecolo are coming to Puyo Puyo Tetris.

● Bandai Namco have reduced the eShop price to Tetris to just ¥1,890.

● Culture Brain have delayed Ultra Baseball Card Battle until 13 March.

● Announced early today was Tamagotchi! -HAVE A NICE TRIP Round and Round -! for 24 April.

● In addition to the Iwata summary post; President Iwata stated on smart devices that the company will “start a new service that enables us to connect with our consumers on a continuous basis on smart devices within this year”. A small-select team has been picked to create smart device content although Iwata emphasised these will not be games. With the expansion of their character licensing business I also expect licensed digital content from third parties so an interesting future.

● As well as Japanese 3DS and DS news and content I can confirm that a new Nintendo product will be added to this site. Not Wii U but QOL (quality of life)! To clarify from the post earlier; QOL will be a separate business from the games industry although it will be integrated in certain games. QOL aims to improve quality of life and will be a business of fun. This will not take the form of wearable products and it is unknown exactly what QOL will entail. I’m hoping for R.O.B. to make a comeback! Expect more information in the upcoming months and the first product(s) in 2015.
