Thursday News Update

● Last week I told you I expected a Sonipuro (Super Sonico in Production) date soon. Well the bad news is that it is now listed as ‘year 2014’.

● Further bad news with Cyber Front going under (which I reported previously) that all five eShop titles will be withdrawn on 31 January. Fractured Soul, Zombie Slayer Diox, Johnny Kung Fu, Samurai Sword Destiny and Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! will all be withdrawn.

● I’m sure I mentioned this previously but if not it has emerged that there will be online cross competition between 3DS and the Wii U versions of Puyo Puyo Tetris (but not between the 3DS and PS3 or Vita versions).

Island Days will be a whopping ¥6,480 and decidedly unbought. The game will feature both story and battle parts with the former mode being an adventure game and the latter being tower defence (?!).

● With the new Magi game out soon (13 February), the previous Magi title Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic will be half-price (¥2,900) on the eShop up until 12 February. I may bite! Edit: I bit!

● The latest 3DS videos: firstly two Puyo Puyo Tetris at http://youtu.be/SRuU9-Wf2_g and http://youtu.be/7ecq6DIUcQ8 secondly three Fossil Fighters: Infinite Gear videos at http://youtu.be/hvqOCoz5f-I http://youtu.be/IjqdnZXSC3w and http://youtu.be/XzONZ5dIwis and finally Virtual Console videos for Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict (http://youtu.be/kIrmvU2F_co) and Front Line (http://youtu.be/kM9LXLhO-Os).

● Almost forgot: Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. have filed a new trademark for ’Pokétouch’.

● That’s all for now. I’ve pre-ordered Fossil Fighters and Kumamon! Kirby review and updated schedule tomorrow! And thanks for following!
