● The shoot-em-up Karous: The Beast Of Re: Eden was rated 27 (8/7/6/6) in Famitsu magazine.

Detective Conan: Phantom Rhapsody was announced for 3DS today releasing on 17 April.

Ultra Baseball Card Battle (which is a card battling sequel to the Famicom/Super Famicom Ultra Baseball series) has been dated for 27 February.

● A playable demo for Fossil Fighters: Infinite Gear and a new dungeon for Puzzle & Dragons Z are available in the latest issue of Coro Coro. In addition, the Labyrinth of Dimension dungeon is available in the latter from today with the boss The Gatekeeper.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe sells over 225,000 copies to lead the retail charts with Kirby still reigning supreme on the eShop.

● An update to Flipnote Studio makes attaching photos impossible so finally no more dick pics so hopefully it can be localised soon.

● Ashley from the Wario Ware series will be in the new Super Smash Bros. game although I don’t think she will be playable.

● A budget version of the DS game Maru Pass Qualification Dash will be released on 27 March for ¥2,500. More information at http://www.media-5.co.jp/ds/dash/

● The first screenshots (but no date) for Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? are now been released. Here is one! Hopefully I’ll post a preview when time allows.

● Square Enix are bringing The Legend of Kage to the 3DS Virtual Console next week for ¥500.

● A trio of edutainment Otona VS Greco Kanji no Tou to Obake Tachi titles are also coming to the eShop next week for ¥500 each or ¥1,500 for all three together (no saving!). The website is at http://www.media-5.co.jp/3ds/otonagureko/kanji.html
