• Quiet-ish week but the revealing of Bravely Second (true Bravely Default sequel) in Jump Magazine more than makes up for other lack of announcements. I’ve just bought For the Sequel which is a Bravely Default 1.5 and the version that Europeans currently (and Americans soon will) have. *Possibly* the best Final Fantasy type game since the 16-bit era.
• All other new game announcements are eShop ones – Order Land is an awesome looking Super Famicom-y RPG releasing next week, another RPG is the DSiWare Anonymous Notes – FromTheAbyss – Chapter 4, two tower defence simulation titles in Impregnable Sangokuden-Wei and Impregnable Sangokuden-Wu and the Game Boy title Yoshi.
• Summarising all the other news: Iwata turns 54, Keiji Inafune’s KAIO: King of Pirates coming in ‘2014’, Penguin no Mondai: Roulette Battle is now an Alchemist title and no longer Konami, Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 first week sales are strong and Miiverse is strongly rumoured for Monday/Tuesday next week – non-Wii U owners: it’s great!
• Nothing much to report as site news as super busy: Gaist Crusher review this weekend, I also hope to review the shooter Phosphorescent Lantse, the dungeon crawler Excave and the Konami Famicom game Getsu Fūma Den before I review Puzzle & Dragons Z next week (my last retail purchase until Kirby!). And updated the Schedule, thanks for following!
