Earlier this week I revealed Crayon Shin-Chan: The Storm Called The Kasukabe Boys Film Star was coming to 3DS in April and early buyers will receive a download code for the Super Famicom title Crayon Shin-Chan: Arashi wo Yobu Enji. Crayon Shin-Chan now has an exact date (10 April) and price (¥4,740) and will be published by Namco Bandai Games.

Not only will he game be an Action RPG but will feature a 2D side-scrolling perspective like Zelda II but fortunately with updated graphics (looking more like the anime) and voice actors. Featuring a deluge of mini-games (watch the fantastic debut promo video at http://youtu.be/tzyUs2UxSas for many of them) including controlling a pig farting in the face of your enemy!

All the mini-games correspond with a Crayon Shin-Chan film with all 21 films (1993-2013) represented. As well as the Super Famicom downloadable Virtual Console game, the Game Boy title Crayon Shin-Chan: Ora to Shiro ha Otomodachi Dayo will also be on Virtual Console (I’m unsure whether available free with the game purchase or only on the eShop.
