Monday News Update

Pikachu Detective Game, Pokémon Trozei 2, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Harvest Moon, Miku 2

• Little news day but what there is is pretty awesome. Thanks to Serebii for the Pokénews. Tsunekaz Ishihara (CEO of The Pokémon Company revealed Pokémon Trozei 2 (Pokémon Link in the UK). Ishihara noted several issues such as the screen size discrepancies with the 3DS and his intent for it to be a download title. An image of the game here. The Pokémon Company are also working on a Pikachu Detective Game (not a finalised name) with Pikachu available as your partner. The game is set to feature a rare Pikachu as an enemy character and a talking blue Pikachu. Set for release in 2015, early images here and here.

• From earlier today: Puyo Puyo Tetris has been dated for retail and on the eShop on 6 February at ¥5,229. Sega will also release a Puyo Puyo Tetris Accessory Set with a hard case and four figurines (pictured here and here) priced at ¥4,480. There will be both 3DS and 3DS LL sets.

• Some Harvest Moon: Connect to the New Land character art: Hero (boy), Hero (girl), Lega (chef and male love interest), Ririe (weather girl and female love interest) and Angora Rabbit (free gift for pre-orders as an earphone strap).

• Apparently you can make your own tracks for Miku to perform and for you to StreetPass in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2.

• That’s all for today. Check out my 2DS thoughts from earlier today and the Reviews page with now over 100 Japanese 3DS games scored. Thanks for following!
